Accommodations
There is, with the exception of the first option below, no hotel in walking distance of the University and unfortunately no on-campus option. Three possible choices of hotels are listed below.
You are, however, welcome to look for any other option, e. g. downtown, for a hotel. Please make sure that you are in reasonable walking distance from a metro stop. Downtown to campus will take you 25-35 min by Metro.

Rates:
- $115.00 + taxes per night ( single and double occupancy).
- All rates include access to WiFi, but no breakfast.

Only some metrostops away, but not in down-town Montreal.
50 rooms are reserved for the IDW.
Rates:
- Rooms have either one King bed or two queen beds. Maximum occupancy is 4 persons.
- Single or double occupancy: $125.00 per night, per room + taxes. $10 per additional guest
- All rates include: Free parking, unlimited local calls, Wi-Fi, in-room coffee and tea.
Commute to conference:
(17 min) Walk south one block to Metro station Namur. Take the orange line dir. Montmorency to "Snowdon" (three stops). Take the blue line dir. "St. Michel" to station "Côte de Neiges" (1 stop). Walk east three blocks to 3200 Jean-Brillant.

The Economic Option

HI-Montréal is a hostel located down-town and close to metro/bus connections to UdeM. We have reserved several rooms for the IDW at a reduced rate. All rooms are equipped with their own bathroom and magnetic card keylock. Free WiFi and breakfast is included in the room rates. It is a hostel, however, thus expect bunk beds (except in the single and double occupancy rooms).
Rates:
- Room (single occupancy) : $90 + taxes per room and night
- Room (double occupancy) : $90 + taxes per room and night
- Room (4 person occupancy) : $144 + taxes per room and night
- Room (6 person occupancy) : $186 + taxes per room and night
- Room (10 person occupancy) : $230 + taxes per room and night
All rates include access to WiFi and continental breakfast.
Commute to conference:
- (20 min) Walk 3 blocks (600 m) north to bus station Guy Concordia (corner Guy / De Maisonneuve). Take bus 166, direction N to Decelles/Troie. Walk 300 m to 3200 Jean-Brillant.
- (30 min) Walk one block east to Lucien-Allier Metro Station. Take the metro to station "Côte de Neiges" (change to blue line at Snowdon). Walk 500 m to 3200 Jean-Brillant.

- For each room, please list first name, last name, male/female
- Date of arrival and departure
- Credit card number, name of card holder, expiry date and security code (on the back). The card won't be charged before arrival.
Cancellation without charge, if 24 h in advance. Otherwise the first night will be charged.
Arrival and departure:
Arrival after 3pm. Departure obligatory before 11am. Luggage deposition is possible.

Charming Bed, no Breakfast directly above Montreal's best Tapas place and close to the famous Plateau area. Probably a bit noisy on the weekends.
